Dataoris - Webhook Configuration

This page explains how to configure H3 cells for monitoring Dataoris events via webhook

Overview

Dataoris uses H3 cells (geographic hexagons) to detect when users enters areas of interest. To receive these events via webhook, you need to:

  1. Configure your webhook (endpoint, authentication, etc.) - See the complete Webhook Integration guide
  2. Define H3 cells you want to monitor (explained on this page)

Prerequisites

Important

Before configuring H3 cells, make sure you have already:

  • Integrated the Group Link SDK into your mobile application (See how)
  • Configured your webhook endpoint (See the guide)

What are H3 Cells?

H3 cells are geographic hexagons that represent specific areas on the map. Dataoris uses these cells to detect when a device enters or leaves an area of interest.

Example Cell ID: 88a8100ecdfffff, 8881839825fffff

How to choose Cell IDs?

If you don't know the Cell IDs of the areas you want to monitor, you can:

  1. Consult our team to help you identify the correct cells
  2. Use online tools like H3 Geo to find specific cells
  3. Provide coordinates (latitude/longitude) that our team will convert to Cell IDs
Availability

It is extremely important to check cell_id availability with our sales team to assess availability (suporte@grouplinkone.com).

How to Request Configuration

To configure H3 cells for your webhook, send an email to suporte@grouplinkone.com with:

Subject: Dataoris Webhook Configuration - [Your company name]

Email body:

Company: [Your company name]
Webhook Endpoint: [Your endpoint URL - already configured]
H3 Cell IDs: [List of cells you want to monitor]
Package Name: [com.yourcompany.yourapp]
Notes: [Any additional relevant information]

Example:

H3 Cell IDs: ['88a8100ecdfffff', '8881839825fffff', '88a8100ecffffff']
Package Name: com.acme.app
Notes: We want to monitor entry events in São Paulo shopping malls

Our team will process your request and confirm the configuration.

Testing the Integration

After the configuration is completed by our team:

  1. ✅ Make sure your app with the SDK is running
  2. Physically visit one of the monitored areas (configured Cell IDs)
  3. ✅ Check if events are being received at your endpoint
  4. ✅ Validate the event structure as documented in Event Example

Event Structure

Events sent to your webhook will include Dataoris-specific information:

{
"mm": 1220290060,
"cell_id": "8881839825fffff", // ← H3 cell where the event occurred
"event_type": "EVENT_IN",
"created_at": 1767623650044,
...
}
